Hello All,
If you’re a regular visitor to the site, you may have noticed that the past few months have been quite lacking in the content department. There’s a reasonable explanation for this: I got married! Of course, when you’re about to tie the knot, it’s difficult to think about much else, so while wedding planning never got too crazy, it was at times difficult to think about anything long enough to put together a complete post. Seriously, I have about a dozen unfinished articles from the past few months that would’ve been just fantastic.
That all should change now that October rolls around. I’ve said in previous years that the month leading up to Halloween is my absolute favorite time to churn out content, so I’m very excited to get back into the swing of things this month. As usual, my MO is to watch as many horror movies as I can fit in this year. A lot of people set a schedule of watching or they try to hit a certain number. I find both a bit more restricting than I’d like, so I usually set out to just watch movies that I haven’t seen before, with a few favorites sprinkled in.
You should expect to see a return of Halloween and Horror-themed regular articles like Number 1’s and 5 For Friday, as well as a return to the viewing of the 90’s kid’s horror show Goosebumps. Of course, I’ll do quick write-ups of each horror movie I view this month as well. Hopefully, we’ll even do some podcasts on some of our favorite horror viewing this month.
Anyway, stay tuned and if you have any suggestions for easily accessible horror movies to watch, you can reach us at themaindamie@gmail.com or at twitter.com/themaindamie
