PLOT: A small-town, alcoholic cop realizes that he is a werewolf.
This is a quality, low-budget B-movie. It’s one of those movies that gives you exactly what it promises: it’s called Wolfcop and dammit if it doesn’t deliver on that promise. And most importantly for a werewolf movie, it delivers on the transformation scenes.
Lou’s a small-town cop that doesn’t exactly take his job seriously. If he’s not hungover while on the job, he’s still drunk from the night before. Unfortunately for him, one of these drunken nights happens to wind up with him turning into a werewolf. Now, he needs to figure out how to reverse his current situation and find out who’s behind it.
This is not a great movie by any means, but it’s fun. It’s super short and delivers on what it sets out to do. It’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but is actually a decent werewolf story on top of that. The end starts to add in more mythology than I personally needed, but it doesn’t detract from anything. More importantly, the transformation scenes are excellent, especially the first one, which has one of the most painful looking moments in film history. I don’t want to spoil it, but… yeah, it’ll make any man squirm.

This movie is kind of silly, so it’s by no means scary. This is more of a fun time than a scarefest.

It’s packed with some nudity, and one very notable scene featuring male genitalia. This is one of the places where you expect a movie to deliver, and for the most part, it does. If you’ve ever want to see a woman dressed as Little Red Riding Hood have sex with a werewolf, this is the movie for you… you pervert.

OVERALL
Ultimately, this is just a good time. The werewolf effects are better than they need to be and it never takes itself too seriously. You can spend 80 minutes much worse. It’s low budget, so you’re not getting top notch performances, but it’s not bad. Watch this one with friends and beers for maximum results.
