No ring. No ref. No rules.

For episode 23, we head back to the kayfabe days of the World Wrestling Federation and the height of Hulkamania, as it’s been reported that Chris Hemsworth will be tapped to don the red and yellow in a biopic project centered around Hulk Hogan.

For this news, we decide to tackle No Holds Barred, the first starring role by Hulk Hogan, co-written and produced by Vince McMahon.

An utterly pointless film, No Holds Barred wastes a golden opportunity to capitalize on Hogan’s popularity, and despite an excellent turn by character actor Kurt Fuller, winds up being completely forgettable.

Listen as we discuss the awkward pacing, the lack of chemistry between Hogan and his love interest, and how much of a waste of time the entire film is.
